Shipping Policy
This Shipping Policy applies to all orders placed through Velvida-branded platforms operated by Inspire Global Ventures Private Limited ("Company", "we", "us", "our").
By placing an order with us, you agree to the shipping and delivery terms described in this Policy. Please read it carefully before completing your purchase.
Physical products — including hardbound journals, laminated cards, printed booklets, hardcover books, card decks, and branded gift sets — are shipped across India via our logistics partners.
We ship to all serviceable pin codes across India. Serviceability is determined by our logistics partners at the time of order. If your pin code is not serviceable, you will be notified at checkout before payment is completed.
All orders must be placed with an Indian delivery address.

Shipping charges, if applicable, will always be clearly displayed at checkout before you complete your payment. You will never be charged shipping fees that were not disclosed at checkout.

Delivery timelines are estimates and not guaranteed. Delays may occur due to high courier volume, public holidays, natural events, or circumstances beyond our control. We will communicate any significant delays as soon as we are made aware.
We ship via trusted Indian logistics partners including Delhivery, Shiprocket, DTDC, and equivalent services depending on your delivery location and pin code. The partner best suited to your area will be selected automatically at the time of dispatch.
Once your physical order is dispatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation email containing:
- Your tracking number
- The name of the logistics partner
- A direct tracking link to monitor your shipment
- Estimated delivery date
You can also track your order at any time by emailing hello@velvida.in with your order ID, and we will provide a status update within 1 business day.
- COD orders must be paid in full to the delivery agent at the time of delivery. Partial payment is not accepted.
- Please keep the exact order amount ready in cash. Delivery agents may not carry change.
- COD orders that are refused at delivery or undeliverable after 3 attempts will be returned to us. Re-shipping charges will apply for any re-delivery request.
- Repeated COD refusals may result in restriction of the COD option for future orders from the same address.
For eligible COD returns (damaged or defective products), refunds are processed via NEFT/IMPS bank transfer to the account details provided by the customer. COD refunds may take 7–10 business days after the returned item is received and inspected.
Our logistics partners will make up to 3 delivery attempts before marking an order as undeliverable. You will typically receive an SMS or call notification before each attempt.
Delivery may fail due to:
- Incorrect or incomplete shipping address provided at checkout
- Customer unavailable at the delivery address across all attempts
- Customer refusing delivery without a valid reason
- Inaccessible or gated premises without prior arrangement
If an order is returned to us after failed delivery:
- We will contact you via email and WhatsApp to arrange re-delivery.
- Re-delivery is subject to a re-shipping fee based on your location.
- If you do not respond within 14 days of our first contact, the order will be cancelled and a partial refund issued (excluding original shipping and handling costs).
Please ensure your delivery address is complete and accurate, including flat/house number, building name, street, locality, city, state, and PIN code, before confirming your order. We are not responsible for delays or failed delivery due to an incorrect address provided by the customer.
If you notice an address error before dispatch, contact us immediately at hello@velvida.in or +91 95233 11239 and we will update it at no charge. Address changes cannot be made after the order has been dispatched.
If your physical order arrives visibly damaged or in a tampered condition:
- Do not accept the delivery if the outer packaging is severely damaged or the seal is broken. Ask the delivery agent to return it and note the refusal reason.
- If you have already accepted the delivery and discovered damage upon opening, photograph the damaged product and packaging immediately.
- Email hello@velvida.in with subject: DAMAGED ORDER — [Your Order ID] within 48 hours of delivery, attaching your photographs.
- We will arrange a free replacement or full refund within 5–7 business days of verifying the damage.
If your tracking shows no movement for more than 5 consecutive business days after dispatch, or shows delivery but you have not received the package:
- Email hello@velvida.in with subject: LOST SHIPMENT — [Your Order ID].
- We will raise an investigation with the logistics partner within 1 business day.
- If the shipment is confirmed lost, we will dispatch a replacement or issue a full refund within 7–10 business days of the investigation conclusion.
For all shipping, tracking, and delivery queries:
